Accor is selling 91 properties in Netherlands and Germany to Moor Park Real Estate. Brands include Novotel, Mercure, Ibis and Etap Hotel [via and]

There will be another 20 new hotels in Russia built by London&Regional Properties [via eHotelier]:

The company is planning to build hotels in Voronezh, Samara, Saratov, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Omsk, Ufa and Perm in 2007-2010, he said. says that Russia experiences real hotel boom. Seems like everyone wants to build a hotel in Russia. and some newspapers point out that prices for Europe hotels have gone up for this summer (starting already in April!). They advice to choose Croatia. I`m not so sure about that. Of course, hotel prices in Croatia are lower than in France or Italy, but Croatia is becoming new top destination in Europe so prices may go up there very soon. For now cheapest hotel I could find via in Dubrovnik is Hotel Astarea, average price $37. But there is also Pucic Palace with average rate $872. What a great difference!

Couldn`t resist myself and put here this ugly hotel room view:

View is from Gresham Hotel in Dublin (back of the hotel). Gosh, it`s the worst view from hotel window I have seen. And it`s called “prestigious luxury hotel”….

Looks much nicer inside.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than 3 hours these days, yet I never discovered any interesting
article like yours. It’s beautiful value sufficient for me.
Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made
excellent content as you probably did, the net shall be a lot
    more helpful than ever before.
